Two vehicles towed after Belle Center crash

Two vehicles were heavily damaged in a crash in Belle Center early Monday morning, but no one was injured.

Just before 7:00 a.m. Monday, a 2013 Ford Fusion driven by Alejandro Fernandez, 27, of Kenton, was traveling south on Charles Street.

According to the crash report, Fernandez stopped at the stop sign at East Buckeye Street before pulling into the intersection.

A 2023 Honda Accord driven by Mindy Thompson, 45, of Rushsylvania, was traveling west on East Buckeye Street when the Ford entered its path and was struck.

Both vehicles sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.

No injuries were reported.

Fernandez was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
