The Urbana Lions Club met Wednesday and welcomed Lieutenant Josh Jacobs, who provided an update on the state of the Urbana Division of Police and shared information about several community programs they are involved in.
Lieutenant Jacobs discussed various initiatives the division is working on to enhance safety and community engagement.
One of the key topics was the ALICE training program, which helps individuals prepare for emergency situations, such as active shooter incidents.
