A Bellefontaine man was cited after running a red light and causing a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning.
According to the Bellefontaine Police Department, the crash happened just before 8:30 a.m. at the intersection of South Main Street and Augusta Drive.
Police say 42-year-old John Campbell, of Bellefontaine, was driving a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze southbound on South Main Street when he failed to stop for a red light.
At the same time, 21-year-old Brookes Stevens, of Bellefontaine, was driving a 2026 Honda Accord and entered the intersection from Augusta Drive.
Campbell’s vehicle struck the front driver’s side of the Accord.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, and no injuries were reported.
The Chevrolet Cruze and Honda Accord sustained disabling damage and were towed from the scene.
Campbell was cited for a red-light violation.
