Get ready for a weekend of laughter, music, and memorable performances as Windmill Productions presents 9 to 5: The Musical.
Local actors will take the stage to present this hilarious story of friendship and revenge during three performances scheduled for Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, June 21, at 2 p.m.
The high-energy comedic musical features music and lyrics by legendary entertainer Dolly Parton and is based on the beloved 1980 film of the same name.
Set in the 1970s, the story follows three female coworkers — Violet, Judy, and Doralee — who bond over their shared frustration with their sexist boss, Franklin Hart Jr.
Tired of being overlooked and mistreated, the trio takes matters into their own hands, eventually transforming their workplace and creating positive change.
Filled with humor, catchy songs, and plenty of heart, the production promises an entertaining night at the theater while showcasing the talents of local performers.
Cast members, Joy McCarren, Ian Fullerton, and Amanda Stephens, joined Ken Keller on 98.3 WPKO’s Morning Show, Friday morning:
