The Benjamin Logan High School has announced its April Senior of the Month, Katie Workman and Ben Chamberlain.

Katie Workman is the daughter of Garrett and Sara Workman of West Mansfield.

School activities and awards: Soccer, National Honor Society, ROC, and FCA.

If I were principal for a day: I would have a field day for staff and students to get outside and have fun!

Favorite school memory: End of year party in elementary school. Mr. Hunt was the best DJ!

People who have been an inspiration to me include: Friends and family. They are very supportive and push me to be the best I can be.

Lately, I have been reading: To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and The Maidens by Alex Michaelides.

My advice to parents: Go on a cruise because they deserve a good break.

My biggest regret: Wishing I got more out of my shell in high school.

Next year I will be: Attending the University of Cincinnati and majoring in Advanced Medical Imaging Technology.

Ben Chamberlain is the son of Matthew and Kristin Chamberlain of Marysville.

School activities and awards: Track, Soccer (Captain), Homecoming Court, National Honor Society, Buckeye Boys State delegate, CBC Boys Track 1st Team for 800m Relay and 1600m Relay (2022), CBC Boys Track 1st Team for 400m Relay and 800m Relay (2023), CBC Boys Track 2nd Team for 400m dash and 1600m Relay (2023), CBC Boys Soccer 2nd Team (2023), All-District Soccer 3rd Team (2023), CBC Honor Student, and All-Academic Sports team.

If I were principal for a day: I would design a new school schedule with a designated time of day for spike ball.

Favorite school memory: My freshman year during Relay for Life where my best friends and I played spikeball for 7 hours straight.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My dad because he always does the little things for me and helps me learn valuable skills that I will use for the rest of my life.

Lately, I have been reading: Extreme Ownership by Jocko Willink

My advice to parents: They’re not kids forever, enjoy the valuable experiences you share.

My biggest regret: I didn’t run track my freshman year and now it is my favorite school activity.

Next year I will be: Attending the University of Cincinnati to study Business Analytics.

Congratulations!
