Bellefontaine Youth Football Secures Spots in CBC Championship Games

The Bellefontaine Youth Football JV Chieftains were victorious on Saturday, beating the Northwestern Warriors 12 – 0.

Hayden Cox found Teran Benton for a 60-yard TD reception and Kamdon Hairston added a 50-yard rushing score.

The defense played great again, holding the Warriors scoreless.

Jonathan Harvey added a fumble recovery for the Chieftains.

They finish the regular season with a 6-1 record.

The win secured the JV Chieftains a spot in the CBC Championship game of the Little Mad River Valley Championship Game on Saturday, the 28th at Springfield Shawnee at 1:30 p.m.

 

In the Varsity contest, the Chieftains beat the Warriors, 28 – 6.

Sennett Stolly had a passing TD to Jax Fleming and both Stolly and Fleming each added a rushing TD.

Bennett Lang and William Jenkins had successful two point conversions.

Defensively, Stolly added an interception and Fleming had two sacks.

The Varsity Chieftains finish the regular season with a record of 5-2 and with the win, they too, secured a spot in the CBC Championship game of the Little Mad River Valley Championship Game on Saturday, the 28th where they will play at Rolling Hills (Kenton Ridge) at 3:00 p.m.
