BLHS Swim Teams Compete in Ned Reeb Invitational

The Benjamin Logan High School Boys and Girls Swim Teams competed in the Ned Reeb Invitation Saturday at Ohio State University.

The boy’s team finished 25 out of 41 teams. The top swimmers for the Raiders were:

Liam Sweeney in the 50 Y Free with a time of 25.26 finishing 27 out of 221 swimmers. Sweeney also finished 14th out of 23 swimmers in the 200 Y IM with a time of 2.32.26.
Landon Braddock in the 50 Y Free with a time of 25.91 finishing 45 out of 221 swimmers. Braddock also finished 41 out of 172 swimmers in the 100 Y Free with a time of 58.31.
Jerrick Stephens in the 50 Y Free with a time of 26.22 finishing 55 out of 221 swimmers. Stephens also finished 68 out of 172 swimmers in the 100 Y Free with a time of 1.02.42.
Carter Daniels in the 100 Y Breast with a time of 1.13 finishing 19 out of 77 swimmers.
Holden Zehner in the 50 Y Free with a time of 28.77 finishing 99 out of 221 swimmers.
Finch Hone in the 50 Y Free with a time of 29.20 placing 113 out of 221 swimmers.

The women’s team finished 28 out of 41 teams. The top swimmers for the Raiders were:
Fiona Sweeney in 50 Y Free with a time of 28.69 placing 24 out of 243 swimmers and 100 Y Free with a time of 1.06.58 placing 51st out of 197 swimmers.
Winnie Bodin in the 50 yd. Free with a time of 29.39 and placing 50th out of 243 swimmers.
Annika Chappell in 100 Y Free with a time of 1.07.00 placing 55th out of 197 swimmers and 200 Y IM with a time of 2.46.16 placing 20th out of 38 swimmers
Lottie Bodin in 50 Y Free with a time of 30.48 placing 74th out of 243 swimmers.
Annika Schmidt placed 80th out of 243 swimmers in the 50 Y Free with a time of 30.68.
Leah Braddock in the 50 Y Free with a time of 31.31 placed 93 out of 243.

Benjamin Logan will swim again this Wednesday at 6:30 PM at Trotwood.
