Bowling Teams Advance to District Tournament

The Benjamin Logan Boys Varsity Bowling team traveled to Rollhouse Dayton in Huber Heights to compete in the D2 Southwest Sectional tournament.

The Raiders bowled 3 conventional games and 6 baker games with the top 12 teams advancing to the District Tournament.

Leading the Raiders today was Caleb Knight with games of 192, 240, 246 for a 678 series, Landon Stoodt had games of 215, 201, 165 – 581 series, and Jarrett Buckenroth bowled games of 182, 181, 185 – 548 series. Daven Williams contributed a 211 game and Dylan Stewart rolled a 217 game.

Benjamin Logan finished with a total pinfall of 3925 to capture second place in the Sectional Tournament.

Up next for the boy’s bowling team is the District Tournament at Beaver-Vu Bowl located at 1238 North Fairfield Road, Beavercreek.

The tournament starts at 9:45 AM.

The Riverside boys bowling team competed at the sectional tournament Tuesday in Dayton.

The Pirates finished 5th as a team advancing to the district tournament next Wednesday.

Cooper Crouch finished 5th individually with a 665 series and Gage Stevenson finished 8th with a 636 series.

 

The Bellefontaine girls bowled Mechanicsburg on the sectional oil pattern and set a new school record for total pins shot in a match by 1 pin.
