The Bellefontaine Chieftains swept the team titles Tuesday night at the Bellefontaine 5-Team Meet, with both the boys and girls squads turning in balanced, high-scoring performances across the board.

The boys finished first with 125 points ahead of Benjamin Logan (101) and Calvary Christian (51), while the girls matched that effort with a team title at 127 points, followed by Benjamin Logan (112) and Wapakoneta (79.5).

Bellefontaine’s depth in sprints, distance races, hurdles, relays, and field events proved to be the difference on both sides. Strong performances were also put on by the Benjamin Logan Radiers and Calvary Christian Spartans.

Bellefontaine Chieftain Boys – 1st Place (125 points)

The Bellefontaine boys delivered one of their most complete team efforts of the season, stacking points in nearly every event group to pull away for the team title.

Calvary Christian Spartan Boys – 3rd Place (51 points)

The Calvary Christian Spartans leaned heavily on their middle-distance and distance strength to secure a solid third-place finish.

Junior Brett Gilldow led the Spartans with a win in the 400-meter dash (53.20), narrowly edging Benjamin Logan in a tightly contested race. He also helped the Spartans contribute in the 4×400 relay, adding valuable points to their total.
