In high school basketball action on Friday night:
Riverside 49 – Bethel 69
Gavin Orsborne led with 14 points and four rebounds. Brody Orsborne had 13 points and four assists.
Benjamin Logan 46 – Northwestern 56
The team was led by Camden Spriggs with 15 points. Peyton Vermillion added 10 points.
Calvary 32 – Franklin Monroe 54
The Varsity Spartans were jaded by the Jets of Franklin Munroe, losing with a score of 54-32. Philip Davie led the team with 17 points. He also had 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Evan Schmidt followed with 8 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. Christian Rogan scored 3 points and had 3 steals and 1 rebound. Zeeke Wylie and Daniel Young both chipped in 2 points each. Wylie also had 4 rebounds and Young had 2 steals. The Spartans’ record is 0-3. They are back on the road Tuesday to take on the Ridgemont Golden Gophers.
