Girls Net Wins Over the Weekend

The Riverside JV Lady Pirates beat Bethel 47-10.

Kenna Johnson led the Pirates in scoring with 15 and Shaye McGill had 10.

The Riverside Varsity Lady Pirates beat the Bethel Bees 52-24.

After one quarter it was even at 8-8. But in the second quarter, the Pirates got a 10-point cushion going into halftime up 23-13.

The Pirates extended that lead going into the third with a 44-19 advantage after three quarters.

They cruised in the fourth and won 52-24.

Leading the Pirates in scoring was Emma Saylor with 16 points and 9 rebounds and Zoie Armbruster had a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds.

The Pirates improve to 5-8 and 3-5 in the conference.

They play in a varsity-only game at Houston on Tuesday.

Indian Lake lost at Graham 47 to 42.

Mackenzie Dixon led the Lakers with 14 points and 9 rebounds.

Haylee Edwards added 10 points and 4 assists.

Kennedy Swaderer scored 8 points and Savannah Hill added 6 points.

Indian Lake JV lost 31 to 25.

Terra Beltz had 10 points.

 

The Lady Chiefs got a big win at home, against London 42-31.

Tough defense by all led to this win.

Leading scoring was Tiffany Boop with 17 points and 7 rebounds.

Quinlan Zedeker added 11 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 steals.

Lexi Robinson chipped in 10 points and grabbed 6 rebounds.

JV Lady Chiefs fell to London 32-26.

Leading the scoring for the Chiefs was Hailee Lamb and Presley Vigansky with 8 points.

The Lady Chiefs will be back in action Monday at Versailles, for the Prosperity Promotions Tiger Classic.

JV tip at 6 pm and Varsity at 7:30 pm.

 

West Liberty-Salem defeated Southeastern 56-38.

The JV team defeated Southeastern 16-12 in a quick two quarters.

Maddie Adkins led the Tigers netting 7 points.

The Benjamin Logan Raiders hosted the Northwestern Warriors in a CBC matchup Saturday evening.

The varsity Raiders had all 7 girls score in their win as they beat the Warriors 56 to 33 to move to 10-5 on the season.

Rylan Norviel had 14 points, Lahna Cook had 10 points, Georgia Bates and Mya Burrey added 9 points each, Adilynne Gregg pitched in 6 points, and Kyndal Cronkleton and Kara Reeves both added 4 points each.

The JV Raiders beat the Warriors also 50 to 32.

Elliott Butler scored a game-high 15 points, Aubrey Harris scored 9 points, Kaylee Hays added 8 points, Lexi Lovett pitched in 6 points, Molly Siefring added 5 points, and Miley Buettner had 4 points.

They move to 8-4 on the season.

They both play again on Wednesday as they host Jonathan Alder at home starting with JV at 6:00 pm.
