Lady Lakers Fall; Tiger, Pirate, Chieftain Results

Jonathan Alder was a little stronger at the plate in their 3-1 victory over Indian Lake.

Madison Brentlinger started the game for the Lake and recorded 21 outs.

The starting pitcher gave up seven hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out none and walking one.

Geona Spires went three-for-three at the plate for Indian Lake.

Haylee Edwards led the Lakers with one run batted in.

The Lake will travel to Bellefontaine on Friday.

 

The West Liberty-Salem Lady Tigers fell to Southeastern 6 to 2 in seven innings.

Brielle Milliron had a solo home run.

Whitney Strapp, and Kennedy Wallace each collected a hit as well.

Tigers play at home on Monday against Northeastern.

 

The Riverside softball team traveled to Dayton Northridge in TRC action and won 17-0 in 5 innings.

Keira Manahan had a great night on the mound with a shutout and striking out 9 batters.

Offensively, Jayden Hoffer went 3 for 3 with 2 RBI’s, Jaidyn Jackson went 2 for 2 with 3 RBI’s and Brook Hunkler went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI’s.

Riverside will travel to Newton on Saturday to participate in the Newton Classic.

 

The JV Lady Chiefs dominated KR tonight at Home during the cancer game.

Courtney Knight lead the Lady Chiefs going 4 for 4.

Haylee Yelton, Natalie Canter, Ava Dolan, Maci Flesher, Brilee Joseph, and Andie Eicher added multiple hits scoring runs.

The Lady Chiefs had a combined 19 hits, scoring 17 runs and no strikeouts.

The battery of Ava Dolan (P) and Haylee Yelton (C) got the win striking out seven.
