The Benjamin Logan Boys Varsity Bowling team improved their season record to 12-1 with a victory Tuesday night over North Union at Dragon Lanes in Marysville.
Total pinfall: Ben Logan – 2618 to North Union – 2060.
Leading the Raiders was Daven Williams with games of 206, 178 – 384 series, Nate Davis with games of 201, 172 – 373 series, and Landon Stoodt with games of 159, 187 – 346 series. Jarrett Buckenroth chipped in with a 198 and Dylan Stewart rolled a 259 game.
In the Varsity Baker Games, Ben Logan took all 4 from North Union.
The Benjamin Logan Boys JV squad was victorious tonight as well vs North Union. Total pinfall: Ben Logan – 2337 to North Union – 1697.
Leading the JV squad was Hayden Godwin with games of 175, 189 – 364 series, Wyatt Levan with games of 195, 147 – 342 series, Graham Studebaker with games of 165, 154 – 319 series, and Paxton Henry with games of 155, 153 – 308 series.
The JV squad took 3 out of 4 Baker Games from North Union, with the highlight being a 244 game.
The JV squad is now 9-2 on the season.
The Ben Logan Boys Varsity & JV teams will be in action again on Wednesday, January 24th, when they will take on Northwestern at TP Lanes, which will also be Senior Night.
The first strike will fall at 4:00 PM.
The Varsity Lady Raiders lost a tough match against North Union in the last baker game 2,067 to 2,078.
Leading for the Raiders was Maddy Hamm with games of 179/184 for a 363 series.
Kaelyn Corwin rolled games of 153/129 for a 282 series.
Jacey Koehler had games of 151/126 for a 277 series.
Reigan Thomas chipped in a 150 game.
JV Raiders won against North Union in a 3 on 3 match 965 to 870.
Leading for the Raiders was Ashlynn Johnston with games of 119/121 for a 240 series. Hannah Larsen chipped in a 104 game.
The Lady Raiders are back in action on Wednesday, January 24th at 4:00 pm against Northwestern at TP Lanes.
Riverside bowled Newton at TP lanes tonight.
In the girl’s match, Riverside was the winner 1852-1716.
Leading the pirates was Kaitlyn Jackson with a 377 series and 203 game and Hope Harris added a 160 game.
The Pirates also won the boy’s match with a total of 2595 and Newton had 1875.
For the Pirates, Cooper Crouch shot a 459 series with a 246 game and Aidden Manning had a personal high series of 393.
In the JV boys match Riverside won 1843-1323 and Jackson Linet had a 203 game, while Jason Friend added a 313 series.
