The Benjamin Logan Middle School boys and girls track teams turned in standout performances at the Piqua Quad Invite on Monday, April 20, with the boys capturing first place and the girls earning runner-up honors in a competitive four-team meet. The Bellefontaine Chieftain middle school squads also competed strongly in a dual against Wapakoneta
Raiders Boys Claim Quad Title
The Benjamin Logan boys team secured the overall championship with 96 points, powered by strong relay performances and key individual wins across track and field events.
Leading the way were multiple double-event winners. Kellen Woodruff dominated the hurdles, taking first in both the 110m hurdles (18.89) and 200m hurdles (29.49). Cayde Buck, Carter Crumm, Kellen Woodruff, and Santiago Solano teamed up to win the 4×400 relay in 4:08.48, while the 4×100 relay squad of Hayes Boysel, Brayden Sims, Bentley Lewis, and Anson Nichols also took first with a time of 51.98.
Other event winners included Bentley Hatmaker in discus (100-08) and Cayde Buck contributing to both relay and individual scoring performances. The Raiders also picked up depth points across sprints, distance events, and field competitions to secure the top team finish.
Raiders Girls Finish Strong in Second
The Benjamin Logan girls team earned second place overall with 77 points, highlighted by a school record performance from Pippa Zvansky in the 200 meters (26.93).
Zvansky was a major contributor throughout the meet, also winning the 200m hurdles and running a key leg on the winning 4×200 relay team alongside Della Baker, Adelia Leonard, and Isabella Wohlgamuth. Other first-place finishes included Jazmine McGue in the 400 meters (1:08.23), Juliana Chapman in shot put (33-02), Kali Shirk in pole vault (7-00), and Isabella Wohlgamuth in long jump (13-00.25).
Strong relay performances and consistent scoring across both track and field events helped the Raiders stay near the top of the standings throughout the day.

Bellefontaine Boys Top Wapakoneta in Dual Meet
In other action, the Bellefontaine boys track team earned a dual meet victory over Wapakoneta, showcasing balance across sprints, distance, hurdles, and field events.
Key performances included Sennett Stolly, who won the 110m hurdles and placed second in the 200m hurdles, and Broxtyn Emrick, who claimed first in the high jump and added a third-place finish in the 100m dash. Ean Fultz was a double winner in the throws, taking first in both discus and shot put, while Bennett Lang captured the 800m run.
The Chieftains also closed strong in relay competition, with the 4×400 team of Ean Fultz, Beau Gibson, Peydon Nicely, and Lucas Lin taking first place to help secure the overall win.
Bellefontaine Girls Compete Strong Against Wapakoneta
The Bellefontaine girls track team also delivered a strong showing in their dual meet with Wapakoneta, earning multiple individual victories and personal bests across the lineup.
Gianna Davis led the sprint group with a win in the 100 meters, while Natalee Kuhns took first in the 200 meters. Kylie Lowe had a standout distance performance, winning both the 800 and 1600 meters. Other event winners included Jazmin Nelson (100 hurdles), Brookelyn Oaks (200 hurdles), Alejandra Meregote (long jump), and Braelyn Neer (discus).
Several athletes also recorded personal bests, including Skylar Rutherford, Kiser Jones, Taraji Johnson, Kylyn Slayback, and others, highlighting continued growth across the roster.
Both Benjamin Logan and Bellefontaine programs continue to show depth and competitiveness as the track season progresses, with strong individual efforts and relay success driving team performances across multiple meets.
