In Bellefontaine, the Chieftains hosted the Celina Bulldogs and secured a 53-38 win, improving their record to 6-5. Grayson Lotts led the team with 13 points, with Jair Mundy adding 12 and Patrick Stolly contributing 10. The Chieftains also won the JV game 55-34, with Sutton Daring scoring 16 points.

Indian Lake fell short in a tight game against Anna, losing 65-63. Brodey Reisinger led the Lakers with 20 points, followed by Avery Pequignot with 14 and Cooper Hall with 13. The JV team also lost to Anna, 59-23, with Brady Golliday leading the Lakers with 8 points.

Bellefontaine and Indian Lake will battle on Tuesday night.

West Liberty-Salem’s varsity boys basketball team improved to 6-4 overall and 6-2 in the Ohio Heritage Conference after a 59-39 win over Southeastern. Isaiah Reames led the team with 18 points, followed by Sutton Wilcoxon with 15. The JVA squad also earned a decisive victory, defeating Southeastern 45-14. Beckett Sullivan contributed 13 points in the win.

The Calvary Christian Spartans fought back from a double-digit deficit, narrowing the score to just 3 points by the third quarter, but fell 53-46 to the Temple Christian Pioneers. Christian Rogan led Calvary with 12 points, while Zeeke Wylie and Philip Davie each scored 10.
