Logan County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating an assault case reported on Thursday.
According to authorities, a woman contacted detectives to report that she had been physically and sexually assaulted the night before.
She was treated at Mary Rutan Hospital for minor injuries and later released.
Detectives say they identified a suspect, 50-year-old Jeromy J. Miller of Bellefontaine, after speaking with the woman and gathering initial information.
Investigators later obtained a search warrant for Miller’s home, where they say they found evidence that supported the woman’s account.
Miller was arrested without incident and taken to the Logan County Jail.
He is currently being held on multiple charges, including rape, kidnapping, domestic violence, and disrupting public services, along with a probation violation.
Authorities say the investigation is still ongoing.
