A Sidney woman has died after a motorcycle crash Thursday evening in DeGraff, according to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the motorcycle involved was a 2023 Can-Am Spyder operated by Steven Klingler, 55, of Sidney.
His passenger, Carol Kinninger, 72, of Sidney, was ejected from the motorcycle when it collided with a 2005 Ford F-250 driven by Caleb Shreve, 17, of Bellefontaine.
Deputies said Shreve’s pickup truck was stopped on Cretcher Avenue and preparing to make a left turn when it was struck from behind by the motorcycle.
Indian Lake EMS transported Kinninger to a nearby landing zone, where she was airlifted for treatment of serious injuries.
The Logan County Sheriff’s Office was later notified that Kinninger died at the hospital shortly after 8 p.m.
Deputies cited Klingler for assured clear distance ahead.
Klingler and Kinninger were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.

A motorcycle versus vehicle crash in the 300 block of Cretcher Avenue in DeGraff led to a road closure and emergency response Thursday evening.
The crash was reported around 5:45 p.m. in front of the gas station.
CareFlight was dispatched and responded to DeGraff Park, where a 54-year-old female passenger from the motorcycle was transported after reportedly striking concrete during the crash.
She was flown to Miami Valley Hospital for treatment.
The motorcycle operator was also evaluated at the scene for injuries.
Further details, including the cause of the crash and the condition of those involved, have not yet been released.
