Drivers should also look ahead for changes in traffic.
Letting the vehicle slow naturally instead of braking hard, and avoiding rapid acceleration, can improve fuel economy.
Keeping tires properly inflated is another easy way to save fuel.
For stop-and-go traffic, AAA says drivers should leave the vehicle’s stop-start system enabled. T
