Bellefontaine High School is gearing up for its homecoming festivities this week. The celebration will kick off on Thursday, October 3, with the annual homecoming parade.
The parade will begin at 6:30 at the intersection of Main Street and Chillicothe Avenue. It will proceed south and turn left onto Washington Avenue, then turn right onto Harding Street and head into AcuSport Stadium.
All fall athletic teams, select clubs, the BHS Marching Band, and the homecoming court will be featured in the parade.
The community pep rally will start around 7 p.m. in the stadium.
The queen will be announced during pregame festivities Friday night.
Unfortunately, the fireworks display planned for Thursday evening has been canceled due to the state burn ban.
The king will be crowned on Saturday night at the dance, which starts at 8 p.m.
On Friday, October 4, join the Bellefontaine Police Department for a tailgate party at Blue Jacket Park from 5 to 7 PM. Enjoy free hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, and water, along with games, bounce houses, and law enforcement displays. Giveaways will be available while supplies last.
The homecoming football game will feature Bellefontaine facing Tecumseh at 7 PM.
If you can’t make it to the game, you can listen live on 107.3 The Drive. Join the community in celebrating school spirit and supporting the Bellefontaine team!
