Bellefontaine Police were called to a residence on North Detroit Street Monday afternoon to investigate the theft of a powered bicycle. The victim said he noticed his bike was missing when he returned from work. Officers later spotted 15-year-old Tyler Hixenbaugh of Bellefontaine riding the missing bicycle and took him into custody. He admitted to stealing the bike, valued at $1,500, and was placed under arrest. He was lodged in the Central Ohio Youth Center.
