The holiday season officially begins in Downtown Bellefontaine, Ohio, this Saturday, November 23rd, with a special celebration at 10:00 AM on the courthouse steps.
Santa and his elves will help mark the start of the season, offering a day filled with joy, holiday spirit, and festive activities for all.
Santa will also be available for visits during several scheduled times throughout the season. The schedule is as follows:
- Fridays: 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM (December 13, December 20)
- Saturdays: 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM (November 23, November 30, December 14, December 21); 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (December 7)
- Sundays: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM (November 24, December 1, December 8, December 15, December 22)
This event marks the official start of the holiday season in Bellefontaine, offering a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate.
This event is part of Downtown Bellefontaine’s Holiday Open House weekend, taking place from November 22nd to 24th, offering a full lineup of holiday cheer, shopping, and family-friendly fun.
The festivities will include the grand opening and ribbon cutting for Santa’s Shed, where visitors can meet Santa in person, take photos, and share their holiday wishes.
Free hot chocolate and cookies will be available to help keep guests warm as they enjoy the season’s festivities.
Additionally, a Holiday Plinko Board will be set up for a chance to win special cash prizes.
Local retailers will be offering Holiday Shopping Discounts throughout the weekend, giving everyone the opportunity to score great deals.
Starting on November 22nd, shoppers can grab their discount cards at participating local retailers or pick them up at the Logan County Chamber vestibule.

Visit participating stores at 11:00 AM or 4:00 PM on Saturday, or 2:00 PM on Sunday, for a chance to win $10 DBP Cash.
The challenge is to spend at least $10 more at the store you land on to spread the holiday spirit!
