You’re invited to join Downtown Bellefontaine and local School Resource Officers (Blake Kenner, Isaac Chiles, Doug Walters, Jean Stanfield, and Rick Herring) for First Friday’s Back-to-School Bash.
From 4 – 7 PM Friday in Downtown Bellefontaine, they will host an unforgettable end-of-summer celebration.
Mickey Groves, Downtown Bellefontaine’s Executive Director explains the whole event:
All the excitement will take place at the big parking lot behind the Main Street Market Place (Across from the Post Office, where the Logan County Farmers Market is held), where the event check-in will also be a donation drop and passport pick up.
An electrifying lineup of activities will keep all ages entertained.
Here’s a sneak peek of FREE ACTIVITIES you can expect:
- DJ Dance Party
- Cake Walk
- Yard Games
- Vendors
- FREE Hot Dogs (Courtesy of Stemble’s) and Popcorn
- LoCo Art will host an art project at the Holland Theater
To make your evening even more enjoyable, consider purchasing a $15 kids passport.
With the kids’ passport, you’ll have access to face painting, a pencil bag craft activity with Four Acre Clothing Co, build a time capsule with Prescription Bliss, and take a fun photo at the Photobooth.
Every dollar from passport sales will go towards purchasing teacher supplies to help them fill up their classrooms.
You can get your passport HERE.
There will be lots to do for the whole family, and when you grab a shopping passport and get it checked off you can turn it in for a chance to win a shopping spree prize!
A special vaccine clinic will be hosted by Community Health and Wellness. If your child still needs to get shots before returning to school, they can help you with that.
In October the Annual Pumpkin Walk will be October 6th. Groves gives a sneak peek of the event:
