The Indian Lake High School has named Rebecca Bihn and Isaac Meyers as their February Seniors of the Month.

Rebecca Bihn is the daughter of Shawn and Amy Bihn of DeGraff.

School Activities and Awards: Show Choir, Swim (3 Varsity Letters), ILHS Chorale, Book Club, National Honor Society, Quiz Bowl, Musical

If I were principal for a day: Nothing would really change, but I wouldn’t have to do schoolwork!

Favorite school memory: My favorite memory is helping Miss Weygandt with NHS projects.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: I’m inspired by Miss Weygandt, my parents, both sets of grandparents, Phil Altstaetter, Mrs. Notestine, and so many others.

Lately I’ve been reading: Fablehaven by Branden Mull

My advice to parents: Don’t try to stop a child from their dreams, especially if they are unrealistic, that’s when the child will need you most.

My biggest regret: I regret not putting myself out there more often.

Next year I will be: in college working toward a degree in Nursing

Isaac Meyers is the son of Sharon and Nick Leopold of Lakeview

School Activities and awards: Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, ILHS Pep Band, ILMS Pep Band, ILHS Chorale, Robotics Club, Quiz Bowl and Musical Lights Crew

If I were principal for a day: I would allow kids to ask their teachers what they want to learn about.

Favorite school memory: I enjoy going to choir and band at the end of a long school day.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My parents and my friends

Lately I’ve been reading: Percy Jackson and the Olympians

My advice to parents: Your kids will be fine. Just help them achieve their dreams.

My biggest regret: I regret not continuing sports in high school.

Next year I will be: Hopefully enrolled in a college and working to get a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
