If I were principal for a day: Nothing would really change, but I wouldn’t have to do schoolwork!
Favorite school memory: My favorite memory is helping Miss Weygandt with NHS projects.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: I’m inspired by Miss Weygandt, my parents, both sets of grandparents, Phil Altstaetter, Mrs. Notestine, and so many others.
Lately I’ve been reading: Fablehaven by Branden Mull
My advice to parents: Don’t try to stop a child from their dreams, especially if they are unrealistic, that’s when the child will need you most.
My biggest regret: I regret not putting myself out there more often.
Next year I will be: in college working toward a degree in Nursing
Isaac Meyers is the son of Sharon and Nick Leopold of Lakeview
School Activities and awards: Marching Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Band, ILHS Pep Band, ILMS Pep Band, ILHS Chorale, Robotics Club, Quiz Bowl and Musical Lights Crew
If I were principal for a day: I would allow kids to ask their teachers what they want to learn about.
Favorite school memory: I enjoy going to choir and band at the end of a long school day.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: My parents and my friends
Lately I’ve been reading: Percy Jackson and the Olympians
My advice to parents: Your kids will be fine. Just help them achieve their dreams.

Next year I will be: Hopefully enrolled in a college and working to get a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry.
Congratulations!
