Thursday evening, Washington Township Police were on patrol on State Route 708 when they stopped Shannon Byrd, 50, of Lakeview, for expired registration.
As they spoke with Byrd she was overly nervous and showed signs of drug use.
During a vehicle search, methamphetamine and a pipe were found inside.
Byrd was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
She was charged with possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
