A chain-reaction crash occurred Thursday afternoon on US 33, outside of Lakeview, when a 2022 Chevrolet Equinox, driven by Jared Turnwald, 43, of Columbus, slowed for traffic.
The Equinox was rear-ended by a 2021 Volvo semi, operated by Gaganpreet Singh, 28, of West Chester, who was then rear-ended by a 2003 Saturn Ion driven by Donald Hollar, 35, of Lakeview.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident.
Both Hollar and Singh were cited for failing to maintain an assured clear distance ahead.
The Saturn Ion sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene.
