Bellefontaine Police Officers were on patrol Monday afternoon when they saw a man walking near the Marathon Gas Station, wearing a face mask.
The man, identified as Cody Cloninger, was known to have a warrant for his arrest.
When Cloninger saw officers he began running near East Sandusky Avenue.
One officer pursued him on foot and another in the patrol vehicle.
Several other units assisted and officers were able to catch Cloninger.
He was placed in handcuffs and transported into the Logan County Jail where he was charged with Absconding Supervision, Failure to Appear, and Obstructing Justice.
