A woman was arrested late Friday night after deputies found her sitting in a running vehicle stopped in the middle of Wilmont Terrace with its turn signal blinking, but no headlights or taillights on.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around midnight to check on a blue sedan that appeared suspiciously parked in the roadway.
The driver, later identified as 28-year-old Aubry Bradley of Galloway, was found alone in the car, disoriented and barefoot.
Bradley told deputies she was trying to get home but was confused about where she was.
She admitted to drinking earlier in the evening after spending time at a bar with a friend.
Bradley then failed field sobriety tests.
During a search of her vehicle, law enforcement found an open bottle of Bacardi rum and a partially drunk mixed alcoholic beverage on the floor.
She was then arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail.
Bradley agreed to take a breathalyzer test, which showed a blood alcohol concentration of 0.140—nearly twice Ohio’s legal limit of 0.08.
She faces two counts of operating a vehicle under the influence and a citation for possession of an open container in a vehicle.
