Driver escapes injury after crashing into signs and a tree

Logan County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a crash Monday evening shortly after 8:15 p.m.

According to the crash report, a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado operated by 20-year-old Caleb Spurlock of Green Camp, Ohio, was traveling eastbound on County Road 29 near County Road 5 when he lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway, hitting several road signs.

Spurlock then overcorrected, re-entered the roadway, and slid off the road a second time before colliding with a tree.

He was not injured in the crash and was wearing his seat belt at the time of the incident.

The vehicle was towed from the scene.

Spurlock was cited for failure to control.
