Robin Webb, 62, of Zanesfield, is facing an operating a vehicle under the influence charge after deputies investigated a single-vehicle injury crash Monday afternoon near West Liberty.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched around 1:30 p.m. to the 5000 block of State Route 287 for a reported injury accident.

Webb was driving a 2018 Mazda CX3 when she went off the right side of the roadway and hit a tree.

When authorities arrived, deputies reported smelling the odor of alcoholic beverages coming from Webb, the driver and sole occupant of the vehicle.

Deputies found two bottles of vodka inside the vehicle, one of which was open and about half empty.

Webb admitted to drinking three shots of vodka shortly before the crash.

Investigators noted that her speech was slurred and her responses were slow.

Deputies also reported signs of confusion during the investigation.

Webb allegedly stated the year was 2025 and identified Bill Clinton as the current president when questioned.

At one point, deputies said she claimed her name was Becky before indicating she was not being truthful.

Because of possible injuries sustained in the crash, standard field sobriety tests were not conducted.

Webb was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by Mac-O-Chee EMS.

She was cited for operating a vehicle under the influence and failure to control.
