The Logan County Engineer’s Office has announced that the Shelly Company will be undertaking road construction on several key routes in the area.

Construction will occur daily from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., with the following roads being affected:

  • County Road 10 – BERMING: From Organ Avenue in Bellefontaine to Zanesfield
    October 4, 2024
  • County Road 9 – PAVING: Between State Route 47 and State Route 274
    October 7, 2024 – October 11, 2024
  • County Road 9 – BERMING: Between State Route 47 and State Route 274
    October 14, 2024 – October 15, 2024

Motorists are advised that these roads will remain open to emergency vehicles and local traffic only, with no thru traffic permitted. Travelers are encouraged to exercise caution when navigating through these work zones, as there will be unmarked no-passing zones and potential drop-offs along the edges of the road.

Additionally, drivers should be aware of butt joints cut at intersections, bridges, and railroad crossings, which may create bumps in the roadway. The recommended speed through these areas is 15 mph or less.

Please note that all construction scheduling is subject to weather conditions. The Logan County Engineer’s Office appreciates the community’s cooperation and apologizes for any inconveniences caused during this necessary construction work.
