The Logan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a two-vehicle crash Wednesday evening on Lima Street in Huntsville.
Deputies say a 2012 GMC Sierra, operated by 17-year-old Wyatt Carter of Lakeview, was stopped for high water while traveling northbound on Lima Street.
Carter was then waved through the water.
He was later signaled to stop and back up.
While backing up, the GMC struck the front of a 2024 Honda Civic operated by 34-year-old Debbie Delong of Huntsville, who was behind him.
Both vehicles sustained functional damage.
No injuries were reported.
Carter was issued a citation for improper backing.
