The Second Harvest Food Bank of Clark, Champaign & Logan Counties will hold its first Inflation Box Distribution at the Logan County Fairgrounds this Monday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
The food bank has addressed several questions to help ensure a smooth process:
- Will there be turkeys?
No, the distribution will include shelf-stable items, with canned meats replacing the traditional holiday turkeys. - Do I need proof of residence?
Yes, proof of residence is required to ensure that you are picking up in your county of residence. - Will there be hams for Christmas?
No, this distribution replaces both Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday distributions. - Can I pick up for someone else?
Yes, you can pick up for one proxy per household. Two households in one car may collect a total of four boxes.
