On Monday afternoon, Logan County Sheriff Randy Dodds swore in Joseph Brenner as the newest deputy in the department.
Better known to the community as an owner/opperator of Brenner’s Butchering outside of Bellefontaine, Brenner is also a United States military veteran, and a recent graduate of the Ohio Peace Officer Training Academy.
Deputy Brenner will immediately begin his probationary training under the guidance of a training deputy.
Sheriff Dodds expressed confidence in Brenner’s ability to contribute effectively to the team, highlighting his military background and recent training as assets to the role.
The department looks forward to Brenner’s service and contributions to the community.
