A 74-year-old local man was airlifted to Grant Medical Center in Columbus on Wednesday afternoon after being involved in a one-vehicle accident on US 33.
According to the Ohio Highway Patrol, the incident happened just before 2:00 PM when Larry Stanley lost control of his truck, due to slick road conditions, and crashed into a guardrail.
Emergency crews responded to the scene, and the roadway was temporarily shut down.
Stanley sustained injuries in the crash and was transported for further treatment.
A citation for failure to control is pending.
