A couple of show choirs are set to perform this weekend.
Benjamin Logan will present its Standing Ovation Show Choir Spectacular this Friday and Saturday in the BLHS auditorium at 7 p.m.
Tickets are on sale for the BL Show Choir Spectacular featuring the BLHS Standing Ovation Show Choir and BLMS Show Choir. The show will feature student solo and ensemble acts as well as selections from their competition show called “Back In Time” which showcases a mashup of songs that will take you back to the future before time runs out!
Friday and Saturday night performances feature both high school and middle school talent.

The Indian Lake High School show choir, The Meistersingers, will present their annual EXTRAVAGANZA on Friday, Nov. 11th, and Saturday, Nov. 12 at 7 pm in the high school auditorium.
The ILHS Meistersingers and Vocal Jazz Ensemble will perform on both nights. Special acts will be divided between the 2 nights, meaning different shows will be presented each night. The 5/6 Grade Spectaculars and 7/8 Grade Sophisticlefs show choirs will perform on Friday night only.
Donations will be accepted at the door.
The Meistersingers and VJE are directed by Tracey Notestine with choreography by Rebecca Taylor, the Spectaculars are directed by Pamela Mendenhall and the Sophisticlefs are directed by Amanda Strayer.
