The Logan County Engineer’s Office announces that the Shelly Company will be working on the following roads:
- County Road 11- Between County Road 31 AND County Road 43- Monday
- County Road 11- County Road 31 AND County Road43- Tuesday
- County Road 11- County Road 43 AND County Road 31- Wednesday
- County Road 11- County Road 43 AND DeGraff Line- Thursday & Friday
The tentative starting date is Monday, August 5, 2024, weather permitting.
These roads will be under construction between the hours of 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. each day but will remain open to emergency vehicles and local traffic only (no thru traffic).
When traveling through these work areas, we ask that you please use caution as there are unmarked no-passing zones and drop-offs along the edge of the road.
Butt joints are cut at the intersections, bridges, and railroad crossings prior to paving and create a bump in the roadway, please slow down accordingly (15 mph or less).
Crews from the Logan County Highway Department will be repairing a culvert on County Road 10, between Township Road 179 and County Road 55, on Tuesday.
Work will take place from 8 AM through 5 PM.
The roadway will be closed to all traffic with no overnight closures expected.
All scheduling is subject to weather conditions.
The State of Ohio continues to work on the following areas:
- State Route 245 Lane Closures – Expect intermittent lane closures on SR 245 between Washington Street and County Road 47 through Thursday, August 8th. Traffic will be maintained with a single lane and signal operation. Crews will be repairing the bridge.
The State of Ohio will begin work this week:
- State Route 245 Culvert Replacement – State Route 245 will be closed between State Route 287 and Township Road 175 starting Monday, August 5 through Friday, August 16. Crews will be replacing multiple culverts. Detour:
- Northbound: State Route 507 to State Route 68 N to State Route 245 East
- Southbound: State Route 68 S to State Route 245 East
- State Route 508 Culvert Replacement – State Route 508 will be closed between Cornish Drive and Meadow Lane starting Monday, August 19 through Friday, August 23. Crews will be replacing multiple culverts. Detour:
- U.S. 68 to State Route 47 West to State Route 235 South
Tractor trailers must use the truck route through the City of Bellefontaine.
- State Route 508 Culvert Replacement –State Route 508 will be closed between County Road 31 S and Township Road 202 starting Monday, August 26 through Friday, August 30. Crews will be replacing multiple culverts. Detour:
- East SR 508 Detour is State Route 235 North to State Route 47 East to US 68 South Back to State Route 508
- West State Route 508 Detour is US 68 North to State Route 47 West to State Route 235 South Back to State Route 508
