Continuing Impacts:
- State Route 273 Bridge Work- State Route 273 will remain reduced to one lane between Oakridge Drive and Shady Lane on Long Island at Indian Lake, through Friday, July 18. Traffic is being maintained with a temporary signal while crews replace a bridge.
- U.S. Route 33 Resurfacing- Expect lane restrictions on U.S. 33 between State Route 540 and State Route 117 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily through July. One lane in each direction will remain open during resurfacing work.
- State Route 47 Finishing Work- State Route 47 between County Road 35 and Township Road 21A will have lane restrictions from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. through September as crews finish work on a previous bridge replacement project.
- State Route 273 Paving- State Route 273 between U.S. 68 and the Union/Logan County line will intermittently be reduced to a single lane from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through September. Flaggers will maintain traffic during repaving operations.
- State Route 274 Paving- State Route 274 between U.S. 68 and Sandusky Street will also see intermittent lane closures from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through September, with flaggers assisting traffic flow during repaving.
- State Route 292 Paving- State Route 292 between Hamilton Street and State Route 47 will face similar intermittent lane closures from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through September. Crews are repaving the roadway, and flaggers will be in place.
Drivers are reminded to slow down in work zones, watch for construction crews, and stay alert to detours and changing traffic patterns.
The Logan County Engineer’s Office will begin chip sealing several roads starting Monday, June 23, through Thursday, June 26, weather permitting.
Crews will be working from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day.
During this time, only local and emergency traffic will be allowed through work zones.
Flaggers will be on site to guide drivers.
No through traffic will be permitted, so expect delays or plan a different route.
Drivers are also asked to slow down and use caution, as loose stone will be on the roads for a few days after the work is done, and passing zones won’t be marked until later this fall.
Roads scheduled for chip sealing:
- County Road 153 – From County Road 28 to County Road 287
Monday to Wednesday, June 23–25 - County Road 153 – From State Route 292 to Zanesfield limits
Thursday, June 26 - County Road 142 – From Township Road 123 to the railroad tracks in West Mansfield
Thursday, June 26
All work is dependent on the weather and may be adjusted as needed.
The Engineer’s Office thanks everyone for their patience and cooperation during this maintenance project and apologizes for any inconvenience.
