The ring was filled with some of the top locally bred market goats Wednesday during the 2026 Logan County Junior Fair Born and Raised Goat Show, where exhibitors competed with animals bred and raised in Logan County.
When the final drive concluded, it was the McClintick family once again standing at the top. For the second consecutive year, the family was awarded the top two goats from their family farm, New Beginnings McClintick Show Stock, with Savannah McClintick exhibiting the Overall Grand Champion Born and Raised Goat and Dalton McClintick earned Overall Reserve Grand Champion. The repeat sweep of the show’s top two honors highlights the family’s continued success in producing elite born-and-raised market goats and capped off another impressive day in the show ring.

Jaidyn Jackson, showing a goat bred by Crazy J Farms & Gregg and Jinger Jackson, finished third overall, while Stevie Tracy of Shroyer Sisters Show Stock placed fourth. Alexandra Kinney, exhibiting a goat bred by Greg Jackson, rounded out the overall top five.
The Born and Raised Goat Show showcased the quality of livestock being produced in Logan County and recognized both exhibitors and local breeders for their commitment to raising competitive animals.
