The Ohio Hi-Point Career Center has announced that they are using student wellness dollars from the State of Ohio, to provide free hot lunches for every student.
Dr. Rick Smith sent a letter home to families last Friday informing them of the change for this school year.
“Adequate nutrition is vital to growth, education, and the well-being of all students. OHP and the Board felt this was a positive use of the student wellness dollars. ” Dr. Smith said in the statement to parents.
This change takes effect immediately.
