Residents in Logan County will have two opportunities to connect with local law enforcement during National Night Out events on Tuesday.

The Washington Township Police Department will host its National Night Out from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the park on West Lake Street in Lakeview.

Attendees can enjoy free food, drinks, entertainment, and an opportunity to meet local officers and learn more about the department.

The Bellefontaine Police Department, in partnership with the Bellefontaine Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association, will host its annual National Night Out from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Brown Park in Bellefontaine.

The free event will feature food, games, music, and activities for the entire family.

Food will be available while supplies last.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign held across the country to strengthen relationships between law enforcement agencies and the communities they serve.

The events are designed to promote neighborhood partnerships, encourage crime prevention efforts, and provide residents with an opportunity to interact with first responders in a family-friendly setting.

Both National Night Out events are free and open to the public, and community members of all ages are encouraged to attend.
