Police Respond to Shots Fired Report; Parole Violator Arrested

Early Sunday morning Bellefontaine Police responded to a report of gunshots near East Sandusky Avenue and North Madriver Street. Upon arrival, officers conducted a search and located Dustin Lattimer in the vicinity.

Lattimer was arrested for a parole violation after it was discovered that he had failed to maintain contact with his Adult Parole Authority (APA) officer. During the arrest, Officer Goodrich conducted a search of Lattimer’s person for any weapons or contraband.

Lattimer was transported to the Logan County Jail without incident. The investigation into the shots fired report is ongoing, with further details pending forensic analysis.
