Stacia Rapp was sworn in as a magistrate for the Logan County Court of Common Pleas, Family Court Division, on Friday,  marking a historic moment for the county.

This ceremony not only celebrated Rapp’s new role but also made history by establishing the first all-female judiciary in Logan County.

Rapp, a Clyde, Ohio native, brings a wealth of experience to her new position.

Prior to being sworn in, she served as the assistant county prosecutor.

Judges Kim Kellogg-Martin and Natasha Kennedy, Magistrate Sarah Warren, and Rapps family attended the swearing-in.

The all-female group of judges and magistrates in Logan County shares a common background in law, having all previously served as assistant county prosecutors.
