Retired Detective Blake Kenner is now a School Resource Officer at Bellefontaine Middle School. Kenner retired in February of 2023, with 31 years of experience, all with the Bellefontaine Police Department.
Mayor Ben Stahler made this statement, “I’m grateful to both of these gentlemen for returning to be a part of our law enforcement community. They both had distinguished careers and earned the right to retire. I’m also grateful that Blake Kenner has decided to switch hats and serve our community as a School Resource Officer. He will be an asset to the students, parents, and community. Continuing to keep our schools a safe learning environment is vitally important.”
