Destiny Dinardo, 23, of Bellefontaine, was cited early Saturday morning after police responded multiple times to reports of loud music coming from her apartment, according to a police report.
Officers were first dispatched to an apartment at 813 Heritage Court shortly before 2:00 AM in response to a noise complaint.
Police reported they could hear loud music and song lyrics from the hallway outside the apartment.
Despite repeated knocks and requests for the occupants to answer the door, the residents allegedly turned off the music and did not respond.
A second complaint was received at approximately 2:12 a.m.
Officers spoke with Dinardo and several other people at the residence.
According to the report, Dinardo was told that neighbors had complained about the noise and was instructed to keep the music down.
Police said she acknowledged the warning.
Officers were dispatched to the apartment for a third time at approximately 4:11 a.m.
After arriving, officers again reported hearing loud music from outside the apartment.
Police said the music was turned off after officers knocked on the door, but the occupants initially refused to answer.
According to the report, officers eventually spoke with Dinardo after seeing movement inside the apartment.
She was taken into custody and cited in connection with the repeated noise complaints.
Police reported that while being taken into custody and transported to the Logan County Jail, Dinardo was crying, shouting, using profanity, and making threats toward law enforcement officers and corrections staff.
Upon arrival at the jail, she was placed in a restraint chair, according to the report.
Dinardo was issued a minor misdemeanor citation.
