Riverside High School Celebrates September’s Seniors of the Month

Riverside High School is excited to announce the Seniors of the Month for September: Jaidyn Jackson and Levi Buchenroth.

These exceptional students have been recognized for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the school community.

Jaidyn Jackson

  • Parents: Gregg & Jinger Jackson
  • School Activities & Awards: Jaidyn is a dedicated member of BPA, NHS, FFA, NTHS, and Student Council. She also participates in PAC, volleyball, and softball. Her accomplishments include being a 2x BPA National Qualifier, a 3x Honda Academic Breakfast award recipient, and earning an honorable mention in softball from the TRC.
  • If I Were the Principal for a Day: Jaidyn would organize a movie day with popcorn, hot chocolate, and pajamas, reminiscent of kindergarten days, featuring a screening of *Halloweentown* to celebrate the fall season.
  • Favorite School Memory: Jaidyn fondly remembers acting out and creating the “Who’s the Daddy” skit with friends to illustrate the plot of *The Scarlet Letter*.
  • People Who Have Been an Inspiration: Her mother, Michelle Weadock, and actress Jennifer Lawrence have been significant sources of inspiration.
  • Lately Reading:  The Summer I Turned Pretty
  • Advice to Parents: “Always stay open-minded.”
  • Biggest Regret: Missing a Blue Jackets game on BPA day during freshman year, which led her to discover a love for hockey in her sophomore year.
  • Next Year: Jaidyn plans to attend college.

Levi Buchenroth

  • Parents:** Ronald and Malinda Buchenroth
  • School Activities & Awards: Levi is actively involved in BPA, NHS, NTHS, and FFA. He is a recipient of the Honda Breakfast Award, holds the Greenhand and Chapter FFA Degrees, and has achieved BPA Local, Regional, and State Torch Awards.
  • If I Were the Principal for a Day: Levi would cancel school to allow everyone to spend the day doing something they enjoy the most.
  • Favorite School Memory: Levi enjoys recalling the days he drove a skid loader and the biggest tractor to school.
  • People Who Have Been an Inspiration: His parents and close friends.
  • Lately Reading: The Bible
  • Advice to Parents: “Encourage your children to always do their best in whatever they do.”
  • Biggest Regret: Not running for an FFA officer position during his junior year.
  • Next Year: Levi will work toward obtaining his CDL and seeking full-time employment.

Both Jaidyn and Levi have demonstrated exemplary leadership, academic excellence, and a commitment to their communities.
