The Riverside Schools Spelling Bee ended after 17 rounds this week, with 5th grader Parker Evans as the champion.
The winning word? “Dimple.”
In second place was fellow 5th grader Jayce Clerico.
Both boys will represent Riverside in the upcoming Logan County Spelling Bee in January, where they will compete against the best from other local schools.
