Russells Point Parks has announced that Sunday will be the final day of operation for the 2026 Splash Pad.
Park officials say the company that installs the Splash Pad will be in town Sunday to demonstrate the closing process, so the park will follow the company’s schedule this year.
Officials are also looking ahead to improvements at the Splash Pad.
Plans being considered include adding an awning to the parents pavilion, planting one or two trees, and installing permanent trash cans.
Russells Point Parks thanked the community for its support throughout the 2026 season.
