A semi truck ran into the median on U.S. 33 early Tuesday morning after the driver said he swerved to avoid a deer.
According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office crash report, the crash happened around 1:30 a.m. on U.S. 33 between Bellefontaine and Huntsville.
The 2020 Freightliner was driven by 63-year-old Horacio Inchausti of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Inchausti told deputies he swerved to avoid a deer and went off the left side of the roadway into the median, where the semi struck several humps.
Inchausti was not injured.
He was cited for failure to control.
