The Indian Lake High School has announced their December Seniors of the Month, Kaitlyn Shaner and Emery Wagner.
Kaitlyn Shaner is the daughter of John and Nikki Shaner of Lewistown.
School Activities and Awards: Varsity soccer, team captain for 3 years, First and Second team CBC, First and Second Team all Miami Valley, Key Club Editor, BPA historian, and Class Secretary
If I were principal for a day: I would let everyone take a nap.
Favorite school memory: Going to any sporting events to support my peers.
People who have been an inspiration to me include: My parents
Lately I’ve been reading: Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
My advice to parents: We are under a lot of pressure to make some difficult decisions that will affect the rest of our lives, so please be kind to us.
My biggest regret: I regret not always participating in every activity my Freshman year.
Next year I will be: Attending an undecided college that I, hopefully, love.
Emery Wagner is the son of Kyle and Kelly Wagner of Lewistown.
School Activities and awards: Key Club, NHS, Football, Wrestling, Sportsmanship award in wrestling and football, 2nd team all-league in football, musical
If I were principal for a day: I would give everyone recess for the whole day.
Favorite school memory: I enjoyed 5th-period lunch junior year.

My advice to parents: My advice is to discipline their children more so that they are more respectful.

Next year I will be: attending basic training in the Army National Guard for radio and communications repair work. I will also be attending college for sound design.
