Early Sunday Morning, Deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christopher Miller, of Bellefontaine, for driving while intoxicated.

Deputies stopped Miller on North Main Street in Bellefontaine because he did not have on his headlights.

When they approached his vehicle they could smell alcohol, masked by the smell of a cigar.

When asked, Miller stepped out of his truck and sat in the back of the deputy’s cruiser.

The smell of alcohol became more apparent to the deputy, and they noticed that Miller’s speech was slurred and his eyes were bloodshot.

After refusing sobriety tests, he was placed under arrest and transported to the Logan County Jail.

Due to prior OVI convictions in 2003, 2009, and 2019, Miller was charged with OVI, State OVI, and Illuminated Tail Lights Required.

Later Sunday Evening, deputies stopped Janet Clark in Lakeview for driving erratically on State Route 235 just outside of Lakeview.

Deputies saw her pull from the Froggy’s parking lot onto the road without her headlights on and then proceeded onto State Route 235.

They initiated a traffic stop, after seeing her swerve several times while driving slowly.

When speaking with Clark, deputies could smell alcohol coming from her.

She then failed several sobriety tests.

Clark was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail where she refused a breath test and was charged with OVI.
